Let's do a little task together! It won't take much, just a pen and paper. Now, let's write five things we are thankful for today.
That should be a quick and easy task to complete. Once you have completed this task, I'm sure you could have kept going and ended up with a longer list. But for those of you who are not sure what to be thankful for, here is an example: I am thankful to have woken up today, for the air in my lungs, and my good health. I'm grateful for my home and family! This list can keep going, but I'll leave it at that. When was the last time you recall being thankful for what you wrote down? Don't be too hard on yourself if it's been a while. It's normal to get up in a rush, go about our day, eat our meals, and go to bed. With our busy lives, it's easy to forget what we should be thankful for on a daily basis.
Do yourself a favor! Get yourself a small notebook. In that notebook, you're going to write five things you are thankful for every night. It's best to do this at the end of the day so that you can let go of all the negative and sleep with positive reinforcement. If you're ever having a challenging day, pick up your notebook and read a few pages of what you have written. Doing this should help to pull you out of whatever negativity your feeling at the moment. Give this a try and let me know your comments below. Sending you much love, xoxo, Mrs. Ladybug
